Humans and the Universe: NASA and Google team up to create a quantum computer

An article was published today by Fast Company about a new Quantum computer being developed by the masterminds at NASA and Google. Long story short, this computer will be able to channel the art of quantum physics in a way that makes computers 1000 times faster than what is currently possible.

And they should have it up and running by the end of the year. (Gasp! x1000)

More long stories short, Google will use it on an individual, human level for things like face recognition software. NASA will use it to understand the universe and execute complex astro physics simulations.

But, what does this mean about the connection between humans and the universe? Is this a sign that we are much more in tune with the world around us than we might think?

I'm no astrologist or horoscope reader, but there seems to be some interesting parallels here.

Just look at the hard evidence this computer presents.

The same computer used to understand the most complex happenings in our universe is also used to understand the complexities of human life and interaction? To me, this is no mere coincidence and shows that our understanding of the universe and ourselves is growing, but never ending.

Lesson: live your life and be curious, but realize you don't have all the answers and you never will.
